Hayswood Park in Corydon Indiana, April 12th 2026

Our first event opening in Corydon Indiana, will be on April 12th in Hayswood Park.

So far, we have engaged some local artisans in the areas of Block Making, Chain Mail Art and Sword Fighting (Foam only). We hope to get some Live Steel Enthusiasts as well, but no guarantees.

This should be a great kick-off to our summer season. Games, Learning, and general Lovely Weirdness.

As always, participation requires a Guardian or Adult Signed Waiver (Click the “Sign-Up” button to obtain). You do not have to have it notarized if you print out the waiver and wait to sign it in front of Event Staff. While safety is in mind at every step, SIMFAS includes active sports similar to soccer, flag football, and other active sports where sports injuries can and do happen. We will attempt to keep people safe only on a best effort basis and accept no liability for accidents.

Minors: Minors are welcome, but will be limited to 14 years of age or older for any fighting art and are required to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver form. Our Hobbits, younger than 14, are allowed to participate with their parents, but not on the main training fields with the larger fighters.

We will in no way be responsible for children dropped off at the park as if we were temporary guardians. We have too much going on to pay attention to every person and keep them safe.
